Landed in a tree line on a cattle farm. The owner said they were actively grazing those fields and there where several bulls in the herd and advised against entering the fields. I gave him a description of the location and he called later and told me the sonde was on his front porch and I could pick it up. Which I did.

Intercepted the payload floating down at about 3000 ft, on the parachute and landed about .6 mi from where we could go. Contacted the land owner who took us on their side-by-side out to the landing spot. It landed next to a pond in a perfect line. Most of the balloon was there in shreds.
