My wife VE3NJA went with me to retrieve our FIRST Sonde,which you could see from the road,near the last reported location. Upon arrival a fellow was already walking into the field to retrieve it,though he came back out to the road and introduced himself. It was VE3LDA ,a fellow HAM I have talked with many times on the radio over the years though had never met. We all walked into the field and VE3LDA let me have the honours of retrieving the sonde. Thank You. We had a great visit afterwards,for over an hour,with lots of great info on sonde tracking,plus we had a wonderful demonstration on Drone operation. This was a fun day for sure which has made for a great memory. 73
