Radiosonde X0853279 recovered by Ve3dmu

Unusual flight because the balloon reached maximum stretch at 35 km height but did not break until 1 hour of floating at this altitude. Operator says this was a test for a new batch of balloons where less lift gas is used. Landed atop a 12 foot sumac tree adjacent a wetland. Tree could be bent over to retrieve sonde and balloon. Actual position was 53 feet from Loss of Signal / last fix position; a lucky find in such dense scrub. Downside was the half hour it took to pick 100's of tiny burrs off my clothing.
