Radiosonde 24062503 recovered by KN4OLA

What a hike! Started with the farmer giving me permission to hike their land. Used ARDF on 404.01 to start and I found a logging road. Followed that to a wide creek where the signal was, you guessed it, come from across the creek. Was getting an echo on the signal: go left or go right? I went right... and that was wrong. Unbeknownst to me, the radiosonde was about 300 yards to the LEFT. I made a wide loop through briars, bumbles, and a lovely family of ticks just to circle back from the RF echo and I found the chute on the ground in an overgrown logging area. I made a straight-line hike through the woods, stumbled upon a four-point set of antlers, watched the butterflies, and took a break along that same creek where some small waterfalls were flowing. Heading back home with a radiosonde, antlers, and some ticks, but not before I swing by Starbucks. Successful recovery!
