Radiosonde W4634716 recovered by K5MGY

Ok, this one was personal! I came out last night, heard the thing a ways off. Not good. Had to be in a tree. Found the road to go down. I underestimated the mud and got stuck. The sheriff’s office was nice enough to give be a ride to a gas station, and I made my way home from there. Today, came out to recover my vehicle. Thankfully I was able to back it out with the assistance of a friend. Once I got the car sorted out I grabbed my pole and hiked down to the sonde. It was there—25+ feet up in a tree. I was able to grab the parachute and pull. With a little persuasion the sonde came down. Screw you, muddy road!!!
